My name is Aymee, and I am a Miami (Florida) native. My family is from Cuba, but I was born and raised in Miami, however, we hold our Cuban roots close to our hearts. Throughout my blog I'll be sure to share classic Cuban traditions and cuisine straight from Abuela's family recipes.
I was married in December of 2011 to the love of my life. I am such a lucky woman to have a husband that's supportive and encouraging in all my crazy endeavors, including this one.
I recently graduated law school! I am extremely proud of having accomplished a goal I set out for myself at an early age. I am the first in my family to attend and graduate from college and law school.
Through my law career I want to help young women, who have little or no familial support, achieve their goals. I want to use my personal struggles to teach and guide young women on staying focused, determined, and motivated. I want to be a source of information to whomever needs encouragement or advice.
My blog is designed to document my personal style, both casual and professional, but it is also a forum to share thoughts, ideas, and opinions on current events, trends, gossip, and news. Now that I have wrapped up a seven-year long academic career, and no longer have to read school books, I am looking forward to dedicating time to blogging about all things that interest me.
Most importantly, I am looking to meet great new people.
