Summer 2012 has initiated a RETRO REVIVAL.  Celebrities and fashionistas alike are paying homage to the timeless classic swimwear. Retro Swimwear includes beautiful one-piece suits featuring full bottom coverage, and cinched waist lines for the enviable hour-glass figure.  Retro bikinis include high waisted briefs for ultimate lower body coverage, and cute low cut tops. Miami 2012 Swim Week: Fashion's Fight Against Parkinson's Disease

 

Model, Shannon Rusbuldt, along with singer Henry Santos, hosted an incredibly successful event last Saturday, July 21, 2012, on behalf of the charity, Fashion's Fight, to raise awareness and fundraise for the Wilkins Parkison's Foundation.  Summer 2012 Swimwear Collections by Ambika and Luba were strudded down the runway by gorgeous models.  It was a great event and I was honored to be a part of it.

The Verdict: Summer Jumpsuits

Summer fashion is all about comfortable and airy fabrics to keep you refreshed during the scorching summer heat. There is no easier and better way to stay fashionably fresh than to slip into a jumpsuit! Jumpsuits are great all-around, they can be used as bathing-suit cover-ups, can be worn during the day with some sandals or wedges for lunch with the girls, or can be dressed up with some heels for a night-time rendezvous. The jumpsuit is an all-purpose summer staple and should be in everyone's wardrobe.  Check out a few of my favorites! Celebrities like Bella Thorne, Mischa Barton, and Taylor Swift have been spotted this summer in their Retro Polka-Dot Bikinis (pun intended)! The newest Summer 2012 swimwear trend is the 1950's inspired Retro Swim Suit, especially in a polka dot pattern. Grey's Anatomy

Perfect outfit for a lazy Sunday. Started the day with brunch at Sergio's (the Cuban Denny's) and then caught The Avengers on IMAX 3D, which was was incredible! Then again, I am a huge Marvel Comics fan, so it was a perfect end to the weekend.
